Cheetahs are built for running not fighting. Most cheetah cubs don’t survive as the mom has to leave them to hunt. The cheetah’s jaws are weak and when they do hunt they have to eat quick before they get chased away by other animals.

Cheetah’s reach speeds of up to 70 miles per hour. They can accelerate from 0 to 68 miles per hour in just three seconds. They can only sustain that speed for short sprints of around 20 seconds. An enlarged heart, lungs and other organs allow them to do this.
