Rainbow Eucalyptus Tree

If you’ve ever had an art class, then you’ve probably worked with some kind of modeling clay. It comes in all kinds of colors, but sometimes it’s fun to combine two colors together to make a different one. So imagine that you’ve chosen two colors and you slowly start mixing them together with your hands. Before they combine completely, the clay becomes streaked with those two colors. Now, stop mixing and use that clay to make something. Can’t think of anything? Well, how about a tree?
Did you know that God did that with one particular tree? But instead of just two colors, He chose several to make it even prettier! Maybe He thought there were enough trees with plain brown bark, and decided to create a really colorful one! So, just like the rainbow in the sky, God gave us a rainbow tree!
The beautiful Rainbow Eucalyptus tree grows in the rainforests of the Philippines. It sheds its smooth, bright green bark multiple times a year as it ages. When that happens, you’ll see dark green, blue, purple, pink, orange, and red colors appear!
- The Rainbow Eucalyptus tree bark is known as the most colorful in the world.
- The Rainbow Eucalyptus trees like warm and humid climates. They are native to the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, and Indonesia. Some places like Hawaii and California use them as ornamental trees.
