Your question is a good one. The dictionary describes superstition as “A belief, practice, or rite irrationally maintained by ignorance of the laws of nature or by faith in magic or chance.” In other words, superstition is a belief in something that is untrue or worse, magical. A belief in superstitions would be a faith in something other than Jesus. It would be far better to believe in Jesus and His word than in superstitions.
