A: Dear Mariah,

The Bible tells us that Jesus was a Hebrew, born to a Hebrew mother from the tribe of Judah. That means that when He walked this earth, He had light to medium brown skin and dark brown or black hair. When John saw the glorified Jesus in heaven, His face was shining, his skin looked like bronze and his hair was white (Revelation 1:14-16). The Bible says that through the blood of Jesus, we all become His brothers and sisters, no matter what color we are. We become one big happy family of God! That means that while we live on this earth, as followers of Jesus, we are to treat people of every race and culture as we would treat Jesus Himself.

Thanks for writing, and remember, there’s never been a better time to share Jesus!

Your friend, Pastor Howard
